CLIMATE CHANGE HOAX Evangelical Wall of Shame

Now that man-made global warming has been revealed as a global hoax, it’s time to hold the hoaxers accountable.

Everyone knows Al Gore is the leading fraud in the propagation of the hoax but in my world it is the fraudulent evangelicals that need to also be held to account. It’s one thing for a chronic liar to spout lies, like Al Gore, Michael Moore and Rosie O’Donnell, it’s just their nature.

However, when arrogant church leaders sign statements taking away your liberties and handing over crushing control of your life to the government, watch out.

Christian leaders are supposed to represent the truth. Back in 2006 a bunch of evangelical hoaxers signed the “An Evangelical Call to Action” a statement that made four claims:

1. Human-Induced Climate Change is Real

2. The Consequences of Climate Change Will Be Significant, and Will Hit the Poor the Hardest

3. Christian Moral Convictions Demand Our Response to the Climate Change Problem

4. The need to act now is urgent. Governments, businesses, churches, and individuals all have a role to play in addressing climate change—starting now.

Everyone knows this was their naive attempt to show “compassion for God’s creation” but I believe it was their populist (read: gutless) position. Like so many church leaders have done in the early 21st century= they would sell their souls to be culturally relevant.

Here they are: (sorted by state- with the exception of the biggest fraud at the start of the list)

Winston Churchill's Take on Massachusetts Victory

This is my interpretation of how Winston Churchill might have reacted to Scott Brown's Senate election victory in Massachusetts on 1/19/2010.

We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in Massachusetts, we shall fight on the lakes and the rivers, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

MY SONG IS LOVE UNKNOWN

My song is love unknown,
My Savior’s love to me;
Love to the loveless shown,
That they might lovely be.
O who am I, that for my sake
My Lord should take, frail flesh and die?

He came from His blest throne
Salvation to bestow;
But men made strange, and none
The longed for Christ would know:
But O! my Friend, my Friend indeed,
Who at my need His life did spend.

Sometimes they strew His way,
And His sweet praises sing;
Resounding all the day
Hosannas to their King:
Then “Crucify!” is all their breath,
And for His death they thirst and cry.

Why, what hath my Lord done?
What makes this rage and spite?
He made the lame to run,
He gave the blind their sight,
Sweet injuries! Yet they at these
Themselves displease, and ’gainst Him rise.

They rise and needs will have
My dear Lord made away;
A murderer they saved,
The Prince of life they slay,
Yet cheerful He to suffering goes,
That He His foes from thence might free.

In life, no house, no home
My Lord on earth might have;
In death no friendly tomb
But what a stranger gave.
What may I say? Heav’n was His home;
But mine the tomb wherein He lay.

Here might I stay and sing,
No story so divine;
Never was love, dear King!
Never was grief like Thine.
This is my Friend, in Whose sweet praise
I all my days could gladly spend.

Lat July Thoughts

You once again showed Your grace God. I think you show your grace best when we are stripped of our wealth and ease. I was looking at my sentiments from July 1 and thinking about what you lead us through in the last 26 days. I wouldn’t have asked for that but you saw fit to show us Your grace by stretching our faith.

I know that Brianna was touched by this experience. I’m thinking that this whole thing happened due solely for that experience and it was worth it.

Thank you Jesus.

You Can

You can speak the private language of my soul

You can hear the whispers of my heart

You can navigate the deepest darkest holes of my inner parts.

You can take the selfish things we pray to You

Somehow its Your tender heart be stirred

You can hear the things our songs would say to You

If we could find the words.

You are the finest thing that I could live for

And I pray You are the thing for which I die

Your heart to know so easy to approach and after all

What else is there to life?

Cuz You can ride the clouds or ride a donkey’s colt

You can walk on waves or walk on sod

Balancing the great irreconcilable- fully man and fully God.

You can squeeze a rich man through a needles eye

But squeezing is a painful thing for sure

And we rich folks don’t like pain so maybe that’s why You say “Blessed are the poor”

Cuz You can spin the earth and hold the sun in place

And You nudge every autumn leaf to fall

And You can swim in every tear on every face for You created all

Oh You created all

You are the finest thing that I could live for

And I pray You are the thing for which I die

Your heart to know so easy to approach and after all

What else is there to life?
